The Cybersecurity Analyst is in charge of detecting, analysing and responding to information security threats within a company.

The Cybersecurity Analyst is in charge of detecting, analysing and responding to information security threats within a company.

They continuously monitor systems via a SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), investigate alerts, qualify incidents and coordinate the response with IT and business teams. Depending on the organisation, they may sit in an internal or external SOC (Security Operations Center).

It is a role under very strong demand in 2026, driven by the rise in cyberattacks and the rollout of regulations such as NIS2 or DORA.
