Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) is a cloud computing offering in which a service provider delivers a platform to its customers, letting them develop, run and manage business applications without building and maintaining the infrastructure typically required by software development. PaaS and serverless services usually bill only for the compute, storage and network resources consumed.
