Electronics, RF and radar recruitment
Hiring in electronics, RF and radar.
Board design, power electronics, microwave, radar, signal processing: we hire hardware engineers for defence, space and industrial companies. Narrow pools, almost entirely employed, that can only be reached through direct search.
Hire an electronics engineer
Analogue, digital, power, FPGA: an electronics engineer is judged on the boards they have designed and taken to production. We ask what they designed, tested and qualified, and what failed during testing.

Hire an RF or radar engineer
Microwave, antennas, EMC, radar: rare skills, often built at a handful of large manufacturers. For Rubicon, which develops radar AI for defence, we hired a Lead Industrialisation Engineer (RF): the person who takes the electronics from prototype to series production.

Role guide
Hire a signal processing engineer
Between mathematics and electronics: radar, sonar, telecom and optronics algorithms. They are often PhDs: for Wheere, we hired a PhD in applied mathematics specialised in signal processing.

FAQ
Hiring in electronics, your questions.
What is an electronics recruitment agency?
An agency that hires hardware engineers: electronic design, power, RF, radar, EMC, signal processing. At Bluecoders, these searches belong to the Defence, Industry & Hardware practice, led by Caroline.
Do you hire for R&D or for industrialisation?
Both, and they are not the same profiles. A designer who shines on a prototype has not necessarily taken a board into series production, with suppliers, production tests and costs. We clarify it at the brief, before the first approach.
Can you hire profiles eligible for security clearance?
Yes. We look for candidates who have already worked in protected environments, and we build the security clearance procedure into the timeline from the brief, so it does not block an accepted offer. Clearance is still granted by the State, at your company's request.
How long does it take to hire an electronics or RF engineer?
For Wheere, the signal processing PhD was hired in 15 days; for Cegelec Défense, the mechatronics manager in 30 days. For the narrowest specialities (RF, radar, EMC), expect longer. We give you an estimate for your role in the first conversation.
How are you paid?
On a success basis: you only pay when the candidate starts. Fees are calculated on their gross annual salary, with a replacement guarantee during the probation period. For leadership roles, we work as executive search.
