AI Engineer or ML Engineer: which one should I hire?
An ML Engineer trains and industrialises models; an AI Engineer builds a product on top of existing models. If you do not train your own models, you are probably looking for an AI Engineer. If your data and models are your edge, an ML Engineer. We settle it with you at the brief.
How do you know an AI Engineer is good?
We ask what they have put into production: which model, on which data, measured how, and what did not work.
