An ATS (Applicant Tracking System) is a software platform used by recruiters to manage and automate their hiring process end to end: job posting, CV collection and screening, candidate tracking at every stage, communication with hiring teams and reporting.

ATSs have become essential for companies and recruitment agencies because they centralise candidate data, automate repetitive tasks (follow-ups, scoring, CV parsing) and provide an overview of the recruitment pipeline. Many now include AI-powered features for matching or sourcing.
