Who we are ?

Our story began in 2008 with Connected Boulevard, a project in Nice aimed at building one of the world's first smart cities.
It often takes a complex problem to realize that available solutions are inadequate. While some companies are comfortable with quick fixes and precarious workarounds, others just can't bring themselves to do it.

In May 2022, ZettaScale was born with a mission : Bring the unlimited freedom to communicate, compute and store anywhere, at any scale, efficiently and securely to all connected humans and machines.

ZettaScale was founded based on the idea that technological challenges are made to be identified, evaluated and successfully overcome.

Our products:

A platform that unifies communication, storage and computing from cloud to microcontroller.
It integrates seamlessly with current protocols and databases, and is extremely economical in terms of time, space and energy.

Z-PaaS. Zetta Platform as a Service supporting multi-cloud developments, public/private clouds and able to manage on-premise Z-Routers

Z-Router. Zetta’s Zenoh router. It can be used stand-alone or integrated with Z-PaaS

Z-Connectors. Connectors to protocols, e.g., DDS, MQTT, etc., and databases, e.g. RocksDB, InfluxDB, etc.

Z-Tools. A rich set of tools supporting monitoring, management, administration, debugging, etc.

Z-API. Programming API for a variety of programming languages and targets, e.g., Python, C/C++, Rust, Arduino, etc.

What's the opportunity?

As a Back End Software Engineer at ZettaScale, you'll be working on some of the world's most advanced and powerful data sharing and storage technologies. Our products power applications such as intercontinental routers, air traffic control and management, autonomous and human-driven racing cars and very large telescopes. You'll also have the opportunity to work with a team of international talent to disrupt existing cloud-centric architectures and bring every connected human and machine the unlimited freedom to communicate, compute and store anywhere, at any scale, efficiently and securely.

What are we looking for?

We're currently looking for someone who's not afraid of a challenge, and who's focused on backend programming performance.

Our preferred stack for this position is Rust.
